Retired member Kenneth T. Brako, 75, passed peacefully on November 6, 2018. Ken was the brother of Jon Brako and uncle to Jim Medlin – both Zone 5 members.
He had resided in Kings Park, East Quogue and recently Stony Brook. He is survived by daughters Michelle, Christine; siblings Pat, Jon; nephews Tom, Jim, niece Linda, their children and spouses.
A retired Boilermaker, Ken was an avid fisherman and loyal Giants fan. He loved cooking, dining, the outdoors and doing things his way. He lives in memory as a strong, compelling and charming man with a heart of gold.
A memorial gathering for his loving family will occur in 2019.
