NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING FOR NOMINATION OF LOCAL LODGE OFFICERS and
NOTICE OF MAIL BALLOT ELECTION and
NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TO OPEN AND TALLY MAIL
Pursuant to Article 25 of the International Brotherhood Constitution, Nomination of Local Lodge Officers will be held as follows:
International President Newton B. Jones has authorized Lodge No. 5 to hold a Special Meeting for Nominations which will be held:

Time: Immediately following the close of the Regular Monthly Meeting
Location: Redwood Club, 2680 Schurz Avenue,, Bronx, NY 10465
International President Newton B. Jones has authorized the use of a mail ballot election. The Election Committee will mail all ballots on:

Location: Floral Park, NY Post Office
All ballots must be completed and returned to:

*All ballots must be received at the post office box by Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
International President Newton B. Jones has authorized Boilermakers Lodge No. 5 to hold a Special Meeting to open and tally the mailed ballots for the Election of Officers. Immediately prior to the meeting the Election Committee will collect the ballots from the Floral Park, NY Post Office and certify the box has been emptied. The Special Meeting will be held:

Location: Boilermakers Local No. 5 Union Hall, 24 Van Siclen Avenue, Floral Park, NY 11001-2013
*Please note: All membership meeting attendance requirements for the election of officers have been suspended for this election only. All other eligibility requirements remain in effect.
Offices for election are as follows:
- President
- Vice President
- Recording Secretary
- Inspector
- Four (4) Trustees to Local 5 General Fund-One (1) from each Zone
- Delegate to Central Labor Trades Council (Only members eligible to vote on the Zone 5 Collective Bargaining Agreement are eligible.)
- Two (2) Trustees to Local 5, Zone 5 Fringe Benefit Funds (Only members eligible to vote on the Zone 5 Collective Bargaining Agreement are eligible)
- Business Manager / Secretary Treasurer
All members of Local 5 are encouraged to attend these meetings and observe the election process.
