Zone 5 regretfully reports the passing of member George Bryant Jr. on Sunday, February 14, 2021. His obituary is as follows:
George Bryant Jr., 68 Native Islander, union member, sports fan George Bryant Jr., 68yrs.old. passed away on 2/14/21.
He was a proud member of the Boilermakers Union, Local # 5. He was a beloved brother and uncle, born on Staten Island, NY. He is survived by his sister Kathy Van Albert, his brother Rob Bryant, his sister Lisa Kralik, as well as Lila Victoria. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Van Albert, Cariss Burkhart, Robby Bryant, Steven Kralik, Tara Bryant and Matthew Kralik. He also is survived by great nieces and nephew.
George was a true sports fan, he enjoyed playing and watching sports. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. One of his favorite sayings was “It’s a Beautiful Thing.” May God bless him and may he rest in peace.
Viewing will be held Sunday 2/21/21, 2-6pm, Casey’s Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave.,Staten Island, NY. He will be buried on 2/22/21, at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrotts Ave, SI, NY
