Zone 7 sadly reports the passing of retired Z-7 member George Boice on Monday, November 23, 2020.
His obituary is as follows:
BOICE – George C. passed on November 23, 2020, at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Agen) Boice; dear father of Barbara (late Phil) Quade, Patricia (Charlie) Austin, Georganna “Gigi” (John) Loncki and Timothy (Kathy) Boice; grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of ten; son of the late George and Mabel (Ford) Boice; brother of Nancy Palmer and the late Charles, Richard and Thomas Boice; survived by nieces and nephews.
George enjoyed spending time at his cabin, hunting, fishing, going to the casino, and working bingo, was a retired Boilermaker of Local #7 and a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was Commander at the American Legion Post 1041 and a member of the George Washington Fishing and Camping Club.
